Frequently asked questions

What happens when I reach my client or storage limit on the Lite plan?
You can continue using all features for your existing active client, but you’ll need to upgrade to Starter or above to add more active clients or storage. Your data is never deleted — it’s still there when you upgrade.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Annual plans can be switched mid-year and the remaining balance is applied as credit toward your new plan.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds for subscription or plan payments, when issued, are prorated based on the unused portion of the service period. AI credits, including purchased add-on credits, are non-refundable once purchased.
How does invoicing work? Do you process payments?
runvello is an invoicing and payment tracking tool. Stripe is the integrated online payment option, and you can also record offline or external payments like bank wire, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, check, or cash. Invoice status updates as payments are recorded, including partial payments. There is no platform payment cut on any plan.
What are the 8 supported payment methods?
You can track payments against invoices via: bank wire transfer, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, check, cash, or Stripe. Stripe is the online integration path; the others are recorded manually. All 8 methods are available on every plan, including the free Lite tier.
Is my data secure? Who can see my client records?
Each organization has its own private database schema — your client data is structurally isolated from every other runvello account. We enforce Content Security Policy on every page, rate-limit public unauthenticated surfaces, and encrypt traffic in transit. Contract version changes, portal accesses, and payment records are logged to support operational review and dispute resolution.
What plan do I need for campaign automations?
Campaign automations — multi-step sequences, 11 journey event triggers, segment targeting, and reentry policies — are available on Starter Plus and above. Standalone email campaign sends are included on all plans.
